About Mayurbhanj Public School(MPS)
Mayurbhanj is a tribal area claims for 54 different tribal group. Even primary education is dream. School is a must.
How many students ?
Around 80-85. MPS has just entered into its 2nd year. In next year, the plan is go till 350 or so - Education std. and Finance has to play a major role. Right now classes from Nur to 5th, which we will make upto 6th and then Idea is to get those students in good school like Sanik or Navodaya School (from where life will be cool for them)
How they run school ?
Nicely !! The idea got selected twice in ICERI 2010,11. It is something we called "Community School" where power of school will slowly move to community after the standardization. EducatetoEmpower will hold Education standard, Youth Development Foundation(YDFindia.org) will work as facilitator ( a strong presence in Orissa). Its a collaborative model where everyone has its own duty.

NCERT, Follow all RTE laws.

Replication of education model at different places. School can be ours from scratch or can be already existing. 2 projects are under process.

Vivekanand Shiksha Kendra(Bhubaneswar, Orissa).. a place in Orissa handling 220 kids in a nice way. A
new project of E2E(EducatetoEmpower). A school which is about to die this year but their interfere force them to continue...
